Disney has announced that just in time for Halloween, they will be releasing the new 20th Century Studios film, “A Haunting in Venice”, on Hulu in the United States and on Disney+ in many other countries, including Canada and Australia on October 31st 2023.  The film will also be available to purchase on all major digital retailers, including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango/Vudu, on the same day and will come with some exclusive bonus features.

The film is based on the 1969 Agatha Christie novel, Hallowe’en Party and is set in eerie, post-World War II Venice on All Hallows’ Eve and is a terrifying mystery featuring the return of the celebrated sleuth, Hercule Poirot. Now retired and living in self-imposed exile in the world’s most glamorous city, Poirot reluctantly attends a séance at a decaying, haunted palazzo. When one of the guests is murdered, the detective is thrust into a sinister world of shadows and secrets.

“A Haunting in Venice” was produced and directed by Kenneth Branagh (Murder on the Orient Express, Death on the Nile), who also stars alongside a stunning ensemble cast which includes Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Jamie Dornan, Tina Fey, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly Reilly, Riccardo Scamarcio and Michelle Yeoh.

Fans can enjoy Agatha Christie’s masterful detective in not only “A Haunting in Venice”, but also “Murder on the Orient Express” and “Death on the Nile,” as the entire “Poirot” trilogy will be available on Hulu and internationally on Disney+.

Disney has also announced that the film will also be released on Blu-ray and DVD on November 28th 2023. All three films will also be available as a digital bundle to own from October 31st 2023.
