HBO Max Previews Upcoming Original Slate For 2026
We’re almost halfway through the year, and this weekend, Warner Brothers Discovery has released a new video highlighting some of the major new shows heading to HBO Max in the year ahead.
This new showcase video gives us a chance to get a sneak peek at many new original shows, including “Harry Potter”, which will hit the streaming service around Christmas time, plus a look at the new “Big Bang Theory” spinoff show, “Stuart Fails to Save the Universe”, that arrives on HBO Max in July.
Other new shows previewed include the new DC Comics series, “Lanterns”, along with the new NFL series, “Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Seattle Seahawks” and “Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness”, along with “Monsters of God”, “The Man Will Burn”, and “War and Youth”.
We will also see the return of “The Gilded Age” for its fourth season, the hit hospital drama, “The Pitt” and the third season of the “Game Of Thrones” prequel series, “House of the Dragon”.
Check out the 2026 preview video below:
In the United States, HBO Max is available as part of a streaming bundle with Disney+ and Hulu for $19.99/month with ads or $32.99 per month without ads. HBO Max is also available as an add-on to Hulu, which will also be available within Disney+ later this year.
Roger’s Take: There’s plenty of great original content coming from HBO that I’m looking forward to watching, especially new episodes of “The Pitt”. With the recent launch of HBO Max in the UK, I’ve been slowly making my way through the two seasons, just in time for the new season later this year. I’m also looking forward to some new adventures from the “Big Bang Theory” universe, as we just don’t get enough comedy sitcoms anymore.
