New “The Mandalorian And Grogu” Teaser Trailer Released During The Super Bowl
During the Super Bowl, Disney released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Star Wars film, “The Mandalorian and Grogu”, which is a new adventure for the duo that previously starred in multiple seasons of the hit Disney+ series, “The Mandalorian”.
The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu.

Directed by Jon Favreau, “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” also stars Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White, and is produced by Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce, with music composed by Ludwig Göransson.
“The Mandalorian and Grogu” will be coming to cinemas around the world on May 22nd 2026 and will arrive on Disney+ later in the year.
Roger’s Take: This teaser trailer is a unique way of promoting the film, as it doesn’t appear to show much, other than Mando and Grogu using some Tauntauns to travel across an ice planet, similar to Hoth from “Empire Strikes Back”. Personally, the trailer was disapointing as it seems more like a parody of a cheesy Superbowl commerical for beer or a truck. I can’t help but think a proper trailer would have worked better to get people excited about a new Star Wars film.
