20th Century Studios Developing New UFO Movie

Following the success of “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere”, 20th Century Studios is once again teaming up with the team behind the film, writer-director Scott Cooper and Gotham Group producers Eric Robinson and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein on a new film.

This new deal will see Scott Cooper write and direct a brand new thriller, which, according to Deadline, is based on the Roswell, New Mexico, sci-fi tale in which a rancher found debris scattered around his property, and the government closed ranks as conspiracy theories took flight about a UFO event.

Scott has also previously worked on “Crazy Heart”, “Black Mass”, “Hostiles”, “Out of the Furnace”, and “The Pale Blue Eye”.

The project is still in the early stages of development, so it’s unknown who will be starring in the film, nor when it will be released, either in cinemas first or directly onto Hulu and Disney+.
