“The Worst Trip Around the World” Renewed For A Second Season

Last month, Disney released a brand new reality series called “The Worst Trip Around the World”, on Hulu in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.

Having no clue about what travelling around the world entails, Juanpa Zurita convinces Disney+ that he can do it just with a small single-engine plane, together with the legendary pilot who broke the record for being the youngest person to have ever made it: Matt Guthmiller. Flying around the planet, travelling to eight destinations across four continents with eight guests who happen to be celebrities—so he can keep his promise to Disney—it was inevitable that this would end up being a complete disaster. Bad luck, even worse decisions, and the chaos of encountering new cultures every week made this journey into the WORST trip around the world—and a possible lawsuit from Disney to Juanpa if you don’t watch at least the first episode.

Deadline has reported that “The Worst Trip Around the World” has been renewed for a second season, with Juanpa Zurita returning as the host, who said in a statement regarding the renewal.

“Disney+ renewing a creator-produced show for season 2 confirms that we aren’t limited to just vertical videos. Our ideas can adapt to any shape, and it is Disney who’s betting on us now. Thanks for supporting every dream, even if it’s the worst ones.”

In the second season, contestants will be travelling to Alaska, Ireland, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Colombia, Riviera Maya, and Korea.  It was also teased that a guest from the first season will also be returning.

The first season of “The Worst Trip Around the World” is available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.
