“Only Murders In The Building” Season 5 Debuts On The Nielsen Streaming Chart

Nielsen has announced its top 10 streaming charts for the United States from October 13th, 2025, to October 19th 2025. There are four different charts: Top 10 Originals, Acquired Shows, Movies, and a combined total chart.

The release of fifth season of “Only Murders In The Building” on Hulu gave the show a boost in viewership, while also benefiting from the back catalogue of previous seasons.

Following the release of multiple “Maze Runner” films on Netflix, the 20th Century Studios films got a massive boost in viewership, highlighting how licensing movies can be a benefit for both streaming platforms and studios.

Disney continues to hold a large portion of the acquired charts, with its biggest hits, including “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Bob’s Burgers” and “Bluey”, still drawing viewers on Hulu and Disney+.   Disney was also able to take advantage of some popular licensed content, such as “Law & Order”, and “NCIS”.
