“The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives” Star To Become “The Bachelorette”
Disney has announced details on the upcoming 22nd season of the hit dating reality series, “The Bachelorette”, which will star Taylor Frankie Paul, who is the star of the hit Emmy Award-nominated series “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives”.
The hit reality series “The Bachelorette” offers some of America’s most eligible single women the chance to find true love. Hosted by Jesse Palmer, one charming Bachelorette embarks on a romantic journey full of breathtaking dates, heartfelt moments and important conversations as she gets to know a number of smart, confident and handsome men each season. Each week, the leading lady will hand out roses to those with whom her connection grows strongest, gradually narrowing the field in the search for her soulmate until only one rose remains.
After igniting “MomTok” and going viral for pulling back the curtain on Salt Lake’s soft-swinging scene in “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” the 31-year-old Utah native is ready to trade headline-making heartbreak for hometown dates as she begins making her mark on Bachelor Nation.
Taylor captivated millions with her raw, unapologetic storytelling. Off-screen, she’s a TikTok powerhouse whose comedic, heartwarming and bitingly honest content has earned her a massive following. As a single mother of three, Paul shares the highs and lows of her life with unfiltered candour. With humour, resilience and a fearless openness, she inspires others to embrace life’s chaos and own their story.
“The Bachelorette” is produced by Warner Horizon Unscripted Television, a Warner Bros. Television Group company. Scott Teti serves as executive producer.
The all-new season of “The Bachelorette” will debut in 2026 on ABC, Hulu and Hulu On Disney+, while the third season of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” returns on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ on November 13th, 2025. Previous seasons of both shows are also available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.
Roger’s Take: “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is one of the most popular shows on Hulu in the United States and on Disney+ around the world, so making the most of this boost in interest is no doubt going to help with the viewership for the next season of “The Bachelorette”, while also boosting Taylor’s own profile with other projects within the Disney empire.
