Disney+ Original “The Murky Stream” Trailer Released

Disney has released a trailer for the upcoming Korean Original series, “The Murky Stream”, which stars Rowoon, Shin Yeeun, and Park Seoham.

The drama promises to delve into the complexities of power, ambition, and redemption. The show follows three people: Si Yul (played Rowoon), who fights to restore order; Choi Eun (Shin Ye Eun), who stands firm against a brutal world; and Jung Cheon (Park Seo Ham), a fearless soul who throws himself into danger for the sake of justice. They collide with powerful forces including Mu Deok (Park Ji Hwan), a gang leader who controls Gyeonggang’s trade; corrupt official Lee Dol Gae (Choi Gwi Hwa), who rules like a king by collecting bribes; and the enigmatic Wang Hae (Kim Dong Won).

“The Murky Stream” will be directed by Choo Changmin (Masquerade) and written by Cheon Sungil (Netflix’s All Of Us Are Dead).

“The Murky Stream” will stream on Disney+ in many countries across Asia, including Korea and Singapore, from September 26th 2025.  As with other Korean Originals, expect to see it also released on Disney+ around the world. The nine-episode series will premiere with the first three episodes followed by two new episodes weekly.
