
“Lost In The Jungle” Coming Soon To Disney+
Disney has announced that a new documentary film from National Geographic called, “Lost In The Jungle”, which has been created by E. Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin, who were behind the hit movie, “Free Solo”, along with director Juan Camilo Cruz.
“Lost in the Jungle” tells the true story of four young siblings who found themselves stranded deep within the Colombian rainforest after a deadly plane crash. But after 40 gruelling days and nights, they lived to tell the tale.
This movie offers an exclusive account of the harrowing journey told by four Indigenous children themselves, Lesly and Soleiny Jacobombaire Mucutuy and Tien and Cristin Ranoque Mucutuy, about their time in the guerrilla-held jungles of Colombia and the efforts to rescue them in the summer of 2023. The film also includes interviews with their rescuers, who worked tirelessly to find them.
“Lost in the Jungle” is going to premiere on the National Geographic channel on Saturday, 12th September, and it will be released on Disney+ and Hulu in the United States the next day, on Sunday, 13th September 2025. No international Disney+ release details have been announced yet.
