“20/20: Unlucky Numbers” Coming Soon To ABC, Hulu & Hulu On Disney+

Disney has announced details on an upcoming episode of “20/20”, which is called “Unlucky Numbers” and tells the story of what happened in 2006, when Abraham Shakespeare won $30 million in the Florida lottery, and he was generous with his winnings, helping friends and family pay off mortgages and, oftentimes, giving money to those who needed it, including strangers. But three years after his windfall, Shakespeare mysteriously vanishes. Police searched for a killer and identified Dorice “Dee Dee” Moore as a person of interest.

The episode features an all-new phone interview, where Dorice Moore speaks with ABC News senior national correspondent Matt Gutman.

The “20/20” episode includes exclusive interviews with prosecutor Jay Pruner and Abraham Shakespeare’s second cousin Ashley McMillian. Additional interviews include detectives David Clark and Greg Thomas; former undercover officer Mike Smith; Sentorria Butler, Abraham’s former girlfriend; Greg Massey, Shakespeare’s childhood friend; Deborah Mathis, author of “Unlucky Number”; and former Lakeland Ledger reporter Melissa Green.

ABC News’ “20/20” is an award-winning primetime program anchored by David Muir and Deborah Roberts. A proven leader as a long-form newsmagazine for over 45 years, “20/20” features unforgettable, character-driven true-crime mysteries, exclusive newsmaker interviews, hard-hitting investigative reports, and in-depth coverage of high-profile stories. Janice Johnston is the executive producer.

The two-hour “20/20” event will air on Friday, 18th April 2025 at 9pm EDT on ABC, and it will be available the next day on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.  Previous recent episodes are also available to stream on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
