“The Falcon And The Winter Soldier” Due To Resume Production Soon
Earlier this year, filming on the upcoming Marvel Disney+ series, “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”, was halted when the production crew and cast had to return to the United States from the Czech Republic during the beginning of the Coronavirus crisis.
According to Murphy’s Multiverse, filming is set to resume in Atlanta, Georgia, next week and the team will be returning to Prague in the Czech Republic, to finish off the last remaining scenes from the series. Filming is expected to continue into November.
Though it’s important to note that with the Coronavirus still being an issue, filming can be paused again should a member of the cast or crew become infected. This has happened this week during the filming of the new “Batman” movie starring Robert Patterson, who tested positive for COVID.
Originally the series was going to debut on Disney+ in August, however, with a few weeks of filming still to do, it has been delayed.
The new Marvel series follows on from the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience—in Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.” The all-new series is directed by Kari Skogland; Malcolm Spellman is the head writer.
