“9-1-1: Lonestar” Renewed For Fourth Season
During FOX’s Upfront advertising event, it has been revealed that the “9-1-1” spin-off series, “Lonestar”, has been renewed for the fourth season. The fourth season will be released during the 2022/23 Fall season on Fox, with episodes also being released on Hulu the following day.
The series tells the story of Owen Strand, who was the lone survivor of his Manhattan firehouse on 9/11. In the wake of the attack, Owen had the unenviable task of rebuilding his station. After a similar tragedy happens to a firehouse in Austin, Owen, along with his troubled firefighter son, T.K., takes his progressive philosophies of life and firefighting down to Texas, where he helps them start anew. On the surface, Owen is all about big-city style and swagger, but underneath he struggles with a secret he hides from the world – one that could very well end his life.
‘9-1-1: Lone Star‘ stars Rob Lowe (‘The West Wing’), Brian Michael Smith (‘The L Word: Generation Q’), Ronen Rubinstein (‘Orange Is The New Black’), Sierra McClain (‘Empire’), Julian Works, Jim Parrack (‘True Blood’) and Gina Torres (‘Suits’).
The series is created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear. It is produced by 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision.
Internationally, previous seasons of “9-1-1: Lonestar” are available on Disney+ and in some countries, the show is released exclusively on Disney+
