Disney has announced that the third season of the 20th Television’s “9-1-1” spinoff series, “Lone Star” will be coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland from Wednesday 6th July 2022, with new episodes dropping weekly. The entire second season will also arrive on Disney+ on the same day, along with the fourth season of “9-1-1”.

The series tells the story of Owen Strand, who was the lone survivor of his Manhattan firehouse on 9/11. In the wake of the attack, Owen had the unenviable task of rebuilding his station. After a similar tragedy happens to a firehouse in Austin, Owen, along with his troubled firefighter son, T.K., takes his progressive philosophies of life and firefighting down to Texas, where he helps them start anew. On the surface, Owen is all about big-city style and swagger, but underneath he struggles with a secret he hides from the world – one that could very well end his life.

‘9-1-1: Lone Star‘ stars Rob Lowe (‘The West Wing’), Brian Michael Smith (‘The L Word: Generation Q’), Ronen Rubinstein (‘Orange Is The New Black’), Sierra McClain (‘Empire’), Julian Works, Jim Parrack (‘True Blood’) and Gina Torres (‘Suits’). The series is created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear. It is produced by 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision.
