Disney has announced that all nine seasons of the 20th Television smash-hit series “24” will be coming to Disney+ in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand on Tuesday 23rd February, which is when the “Star” brand launches.

“Star” is a new general entertainment content brand from The Walt Disney Company to be included in the Disney+ streaming service in select markets outside the U.S.  The Star brand serves as home to thousands of hours of movies and television from Disney’s creative studios, including Disney Television Studios, FX, 20th Century Studios, 20th Television, Touchstone, and more, enhanced by the addition of local programming from the regions.

Kiefer Sutherland starred in this precedent-setting television series from executive producers Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran.

The show followed CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit) Agent Jack Bauer, played by Sutherland, as he thwarts multiple terrorist plots, including presidential assassination attempts, cyberattacks and thermonuclear detonations, as well as government and corporate corruption.

“24” has over 192 episodes from 9 seasons, each season consists of 24 episodes, each representing one hour of real-time events. The ninth season only has 12 episodes and is called “24: Live Another Day”.

The spin-off series “24: Legacy” will also be coming to Disney+ in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand on Tuesday 23rd February.

This series saw Jack Bauer replayed by Eric Carter, a man who is a military hero returns home but little does he realise that trouble has followed him to his country. He is entrusted with the responsibility of preventing a massive terror attack.  Eric was played by Corey Hawkins.
