Disney’s 20th Television has signed a new multi-year overall deal with Todd Harthan, who has previously worked on “Rosewood”, “The Resident”, “Psych” and the Disney+ Original series, “The Crossover”.

Todd recently replaced Rob Thomas as showrunner on the upcoming drama series High Potential. The series is based on the popular French show Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI). The crime procedural stars the incomparable Kaitlin Olson as Morgan, a single mom with an exceptional mind whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a by-the-book seasoned detective.

20th Television has been working with Todd for over the year, where he was the executive producer on the Disney+ series “The Crossover,” executive producer and showrunner on the Fox medical drama “The Resident,” and creator, executive producer, and showrunner on the Fox series “Rosewood.” He was also an executive producer on the ABC spy drama “The Company You Keep.”

An overall deal is a business agreement in the entertainment industry where Disney’s studios pay a creator, who could be a writer, director, producer, or actor, a fee to have the first right of refusal on any of their future projects.
