20th Television Signs Overall Deal With Charise Castro Smith
Disney’s 20th Television has signed a new multi-year overall deal with Charise Castro Smith, who co-wrote and co-directed the Disney animated film, “Encanto” and also worked on Netflix’s “The Haunting of Hill House”.
As part of this new deal, she will be developing, writing and executive produce new original series linear channels and streaming platforms including Disney+ and Hulu.
According to Deadline, One of the projects that Charise is working on is a series adaptation of Lisa Unger’s international bestseller, “Confessions On The 7:45”. This new series is in development for Hulu, which will star Jessica Alba and it will be directed by Eva Longoria.
“Confessions On The 7:45” is a psychological thriller about a working mum, who meets a stranger on a train as she is commuting home who upends her life. As her life unravels and betrayals are revealed, she questions whether we can ever truly know the people closest to us.

Charise Castro Smith added:
