20th Television Developing Spy Drama “Candygram”
20th Television is developing a brand new spy drama called “Candygram”, which is being created by the writing duo Katie J. Stone and David Daitch, who have previously worked on “Splinter Cell”, “Shooter”, “Call Of Duty” and “Interceptor”.
“Candygram” is based around a street smart local learns that her unique skill set is exactly what the CIA needs when they set up shop in her hometown of Las Vegas. But although her unconventional methods provide new challenges for by-the-book Station Chief and his diverse team of operatives, they’ll work toward a common goal despite their differences: that’s real life spy craft.
Katie J. Stone and David Daitch will be executive producers on the series along with Derek Kolstad and Rebelle Media’s Laura Lewis, Christy Thornton and Stephanie Noonan. Derek Kolstad has previously worked on the Disney+ series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” and has just finished producing the upcoming Hulu/Star original film “The Princess”.
Expect to see this series on ABC and Hulu in the United States, on Star+ in Latin American and on Disney+ everywhere else in the world.
