20th Television Developing New Legal Drama “Roman Law”

20th Television is developing a new show called “Roman Law” for ABC, which will be themed around a father and daughter legal team.

The official description for the series says that it will tell the story of what happens when her father is exposed as a lifelong fraud who’s been practicing law without a license, his once-adoring daughter, who just finished law school to follow in his footsteps, must take over his financially troubled practice to save her family home and keep the man she thought she knew from going to prison.

According to Deadline, the show is being created by Jeremy Svenson, who is writing and executive producing it. He has previously worked on a number of shows, including the recent “Beverly Hills 90210” reboot, and he also wrote the Telltale Games “Game of Thrones” video game.

No other details on the upcoming project have been revealed, such as who will star in it or other creatives behind the show.

As with other ABC series, we should expect it to also be released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States after it airs on the ABC channel and on Disney+ internationally.
