12 New Hartbeat’s ‘LOL Live’ Comedy Specials Coming To Hulu & Hulu On Disney+

Disney is continuing to build out Hulu’s stand-up comedy lineup with a brand new deal with Hartbeat for twelve new half-hour specials from the “LOL Live” showcase series.

The first “LOL Live” special was released in 2025 as a way of championing emerging talent and being a driving force behind the revival of the half-hour comedy special, which has often been a useful stepping stone for comedians rising up in the ranks and is seen much less these days.

There will be a wide selection of comedians featured in these specials, including Matt Richards, Bresha Webb, Alfred Robles, Just Nesh, Comedian CP, Tacarra Williams, Jason Cheny, Dulcé Sloan, Sydney Castillo, Paris Sashay and Lance Woods, which will roll out on Hulu/Hulu On Disney+ in the United States once a month through May 2027.  Unfortunately, no international release details on Disney+ have been announced.

Here’s the lineup:

  • June 19, 2026 – Chaunté Wayans
  • July 2026 – Matt Richards
  • August 2026 – Bresha Webb
  • September 2026 – Alfred Robles
  • October 2026 – Just Nesh
  • November 2026 – Comedian CP
  • December 2026 – Tacarra Williams
  • January 2027 – Jason Cheny
  • February 2027 – Dulcé Sloan
  • March 2027 – Sydney Castillo
  • April 2027 – Paris Sashay
  • May 2027 – Lance Woods

Eric Weil, Vice President of Comedy at Hartbeat, said in a statement to Deadline, regarding the new deal:

LOL Live was created to showcase great comedians and connect audiences with voices they may not have discovered yet.  The response to the first slate demonstrated a strong appetite for stand-up comedy that feels fresh, authentic, and reflective of today’s comedy landscape. This new group of performers represents an exciting mix of established talent and rising stars, and we’re thrilled to continue growing the franchise while helping reintroduce the classic half-hour special to a new generation of comedy fans.”

Jeff Clanagan, Hartbeat’s Co-Founder, President and Chief Distribution Officer, added:

“Comedy remains one of the most powerful ways to connect with audiences, and LOL Live continues to be an important platform for identifying and amplifying exceptional talent. We’re proud to continue building a franchise that not only delivers great comedy but creates meaningful opportunities for emerging and established comedians alike.”
