“Prison Break: Black Creek” Goes Into Production

Disney has announced that production has now begun on the popular “Prison Break” spinoff series, “Prison Break: Black Creek”, which will be coming to Disney+ and Hulu.

This new series follows a soldier-turned-corrections officer, who takes a job at one of the deadliest prisons in America to prove just how far she’ll go for someone she loves.

“Prison Break: Black Creek” will star Emily Browning (Cassidy), Drake Rodger (Tommy), Lukas Gage (Jackson), Clayton Cardenas (Michael “Ghost”), JR Bourne (Junior), Georgie Flores (Andrea), Kelli Berglund (Cheyenne) and Myles Bullock (Darius “Red”). Along with Sam Trammell (Jarrod), Sean Bridgers (Hollis), Chris Coy (Mule), Kerry Bishé (Mary), Robin Weigert (Chaplain) and Jean Louisa Kelly (Margaret).

This new series is being created by Elgin James, who previously worked on “Mayans M.C” He will be the showrunner, executive producer, and director of the pilot. Dawn Olmstead, who executive produced the original series, will be returning as executive producer. Paul Scheuring, Marty Adelstein, and Neal Moritz also executive produce for 20th Television.
