First Look At DisneyNature’s “Wolf”

Today marks International Wolf Day, and to celebrate, Disney has announced some new details on the next film from its DisneyNature studio, which will be called “Wolf”, and it will be coming to Disney+ on Earth Day, April 22nd 2027.

The film will follow a pack of wolves in the Canadian High Arctic, though unfortunately we don’t know much more than that.

However, it looks like a special short film by Jeff Wilson, called , will be making its premiere at the upcoming Venice Film Festival in September. The short follows Wildlife filmmakers in the far north of the Canadian Arctic as they share the unique experience of tracking and filming Arctic Wolves in a meditation on what responsibilities humanity has when interacting with wild animals. Hopefully, as with other DisneyNature films, these behind-the-scenes documentaries will also get a Disney+ release at the same time.

Here are some photos from the upcoming Disney+ Original film:

This follows the recent trend of DisneyNature releasing a new film every Earth Day, following the success of films based on Penguins, Polar Bears and most recently, Orangutans.
