“The Devil Wears Prada 2” Coming Soon To Disney+ & Hulu
Disney has announced details on the upcoming streaming and digital release of the 20th Century Studios film, “The Devil Wears Prada 2”, which has been one of the most successful films at the box office this year.
Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci return to the fashionable streets of New York City and the sleek offices of Runway Magazine in this stylish sequel.
The movie tells the story of Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway), who returns to Runway magazine as the new features editor, where she finds her formidable former boss, Miranda (Meryl Streep), facing threats to her glossy print empire. Familiar frenemies and fresh faces join the catwalk in this stylish sequel.
The sequel to the 2006 phenomenon has been directed by David Frankel, written by Aline Brosh McKenna, produced by Wendy Finerman, and executive produced by Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt, and Aline Brosh McKenna.
“The Devil Wears Prada 2” will stream exclusively on Disney+ and Hulu around the world from July 29th 2026. The film also arrives on digital later next week on June 30th 2026, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. It has also been confirmed that the film will be released on physical media formats, including 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, on July 28th 2026.

Roger’s Take: “The Devil Wears Prada 2” has been one of this year’s biggest successes for Disney, with a great box office run. We now know when it’s going to be coming to Disney+ and Hulu, which is just around 90 days from theatrical release. It also marks a rare occasion where Disney is promoting the streaming release ahead of the digital release, as usually Disney holds off giving a streaming date to maximise the amount of digital purchases and rentals. I got to see the film recently while on a Disney Cruise and am looking forward to rewatching the film again with my wife.
