“Criminal Minds Evolution” Renewed For A 20th Season
One of the most popular shows available on any streaming service each week is “Criminal Minds”, one of television’s longest-running dramas that follows a group of FBI officers, whose job is to catch criminals. Their speciality is to think like them. Special Agents Jason Gideon and Aaron Hotchner head up the FBI’s most elite profiling team — experts in analysing criminal minds.
Today, Paramount has announced that “Criminal Minds: Evolution” is going to be returning for its 19th season later this year, and it has also been renewed for a 20th season, which will arrive in 2027.
Season 19 stars Joe Mantegna, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Aisha Tyler, Zach Gilford, and RJ Hatanaka with Adam Rodriguez and Paget Brewster, and follows the FBI’s Behavioural Analysis Unit, a team of profilers tasked with analysing and capturing the country’s most dangerous criminals, before they strike again.
Guest stars featured this season include Connor Storrie (Heated Rivalry), Justin Kirk (Angels in America), Yvette Nicole Brown (Community), Clark Gregg (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D), Paul F. Tompkins (Bojack Horseman), Cress Williams (Black Lightning), Kofi Siriboe (Queen Sugar), Lyndon Smith (Step Sisters), Richard Cabral (Mayans), Jeri Ryan (Star Trek Voyager), Rob Yang (The Menu), Nicholas Gonzalez (The Good Doctor), Inny Clemons (Judging Amy), Nicole Pacent (Westworld), Dash Mihok (Ray Donovan), Joseph Cross (Big Little Lies) and Cara Jade Myers (Killers of the Flower Moon).
“Criminal Minds: Evolution” is produced by Disney’s 20th Television and CBS Studios. Erica Messer (Criminal Minds, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders) serves as showrunner and executive producer, with Breen Frazier, Chris Barbour, Glenn Kershaw, and Mark Gordon also executive producing.
The new season will premiere on May 28th 2026, on Paramount+ in the United States, and it will also be coming to Disney+ in many other countries, including Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom, at a later date. All episodes of “Criminal Minds: Evolution” are available to stream on Paramount+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.
