When Is Pixar’s “Hoppers” Coming To Disney+?
This Spring, Pixar is releasing a brand new original animated movie called “Hoppers”, which tells the story of animal lover Mabel (voice of Piper Curda), who seizes an opportunity to use a new technology to ‘hop’ her consciousness into a life-like robotic beaver and communicate directly with animals. As she uncovers mysteries in the animal world beyond anything she could have imagined, Mabel befriends charismatic beaver, King George (voice of Bobby Moynihan), and must rally the entire animal kingdom to face a major, imminent human-threat: smooth-talking local mayor Jerry Generazzo (voice of Jon Hamm).
The all-star voice ensemble also features Kathy Najimy, Dave Franco and Meryl Streep. “Hoppers” is directed by Daniel Chong and produced by Nicole Paradis Grindle, with an original score by Mark Mothersbaugh.
When Is “Hoppers” Released?
“Hoppers” is being released exclusively in cinemas on March 6th, 2026.
When Will “Hoppers” Be On Disney+?
Currently, no official Disney+ release date has yet been announced.
As with other theatrical releases from Disney, the film will be available exclusively in cinemas for at least six weeks, before arriving on digital platforms.
Generally, Disney waits around 100 days after a theatrical release before a movie debuts on Disney+, so it’s unlikely we will see “Hoppers” on Disney+ until mid-June 2026. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if Disney holds off dropping it until “Toy Story 5” has been in cinemas for a few weeks, so it doesn’t impact the initial box office results.
What Time Will “Hoppers” Be Released On Disney+
Disney+ updates daily at the following times:
- Pacific Time: 00:00 AM / Midnight
- Eastern Time: 03:00 AM
- UK: 08:00 AM
- Sydney, Australia – 19:00 PM
Sometimes films can arrive a few minutes later as the servers update. The Disney+ front page usually updates about an hour later.
