Every Marvel Release Coming To Disney+ In 2026

2026 will be another strong year for Marvel fans, with many new releases coming to Disney+, including three live-action shows and the return of two popular animated series, plus a new spotlight special based on “The Punisher”.

While the Disney+ lineup for 2026 is very full, the theatrical releases are very light, as Marvel Studios will release just “Avengers: Doomsday” in cinemas in December 2026, which means we won’t see it arrive on Disney+ until early 2027. Sony is also releasing a new “Spider-Man” film this summer, but as with other Sony-made films, it also won’t arrive on Disney+ due to existing contracts.

Here’s the rundown:

Wonder Man

Aspiring Hollywood actor Simon Williams is struggling to get his career off the ground. During a chance meeting with Trevor Slattery, an actor whose biggest roles may be well behind him, Simon learns legendary director Von Kovak is remaking the superhero film “Wonder Man”. These two actors, at opposite ends of their careers, doggedly pursue life-changing roles in this film as audiences get a peek behind the curtain of the entertainment industry.

This all-new original series will premiere on Disney+ on January 27th, 2026

Daredevil: Born Again – Season 2

Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Mayor Wilson Fisk/Kingpin will find themselves on a collision course, as they both fight for the future of New York City.

The second season will be released on Disney+ in March 2026.

The Punisher – Marvel Special Presentation

This upcoming “Punisher” special will see Jon Bernthal return as Frank Castle. The special is set after the events of the latest season of “Daredevil: Born Again” and the character will also appear in the upcoming movie, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”. Jon has written the special with Reinaldo Marcus Green, who has also directed it.

Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man – Season 2

Marvel Animation’s “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” is an animated series that follows Peter Parker on his way to becoming a hero, with a journey unlike we have ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots.

The second season will be coming to Disney+ during the fall of 2026, though no exact release date has been announced yet.

X-Men ’97 – Season 2

Marvel Animation’s “X-Men’97” revisits the iconic era of the 1990s as The X-Men, a band of mutants who use their uncanny gifts to protect a world that hates and fears them, are challenged like never before, forced to face a dangerous and unexpected new future.

The new season will be coming to Disney+ in the summer of 2026.

Vision Quest

This will be the third instalment in the “WandaVision” story, and will see Paul Bettany return as the Vision. He will be joined by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, James D’Arcy, Orla Brady, Emily Hampshire, James Spader, and Ruaridh Mollica. Very little is known about this new series yet.

This new series will be arriving on Disney+ in the fall of 2026, though I wouldn’t be surprised if this show gets bumped into 2027, as we’ve seen this happen before when the Marvel slate is too big, and they want to spread it out to save money, but more importantly, try to slow down their releases.
