“The Roses” Out Now On Digital Platforms
Today, Disney has released the latest movie from Searchlight Pictures’, “The Roses”, on digital platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. “The Roses” is a reimagining of the 1989 classic film “The War of the Roses”, based on the novel by Warren Adler.
Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman star in this movie that tells the story of how life seems easy for picture-perfect couple Ivy and Theo: successful careers, a loving marriage, great kids. But beneath the façade of their supposed ideal life, a storm is brewing – as Theo’s career nosedives while Ivy’s own ambitions take off, a tinderbox of fierce competition and hidden resentment ignites.
The movie will also be released on physical media, including Blu-Ray and DVD, on November 25th 2025. No streaming release date has been announced yet, but it’s likely to arrive on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world around the same time as the DVD hits stores.
