Today, Disney has released the first teaser trailer of the upcoming film, along with the first poster for the movie, which will see the Mandalorian and Grogu embark on their most thrilling mission yet.

Directed by Jon Favreau, “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” also stars Sigourney Weaver and is produced by Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce, with music composed by Ludwig Göransson.
“Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” will be coming exclusively to theatres on May 22nd, 2026, and we should expect to see it released on Disney+ a few months later. The first three seasons of “The Mandalorian” are also available to stream on Disney+.
Roger’s Take: The trailer looks like it’s going to be a great fun adventure with Mandalorian and Grogu, which even the poster plays on with a retro style. Throw in some major Star Wars iconic moments such as three AT-AT’s and a Hutt in action in the ring, this could be an interesting film to see on the big screen, but the big question is going to be is, will people go to the cinema to see it, or wait for Disney+?
