Disney+ Adds “Tron” Collection

Just ahead of the release of the upcoming third “Tron” movie, “Tron: Ares”, a brand new collection has been added to Disney+ featuring movies and shows from the iconic franchise.

“Tron” originally debuted back in the 1980s and tells the story of what happened when a talented computer engineer called Kevin Flynn finds out that Ed Dillinger, an executive at his company, has been stealing his work, so he tries to hack into the system. However, Flynn is transported into the digital world, where he has to face off against Dillinger’s computerised likeness, Sark, and the imposing Master Control Program. Aided by Tron and Yori, Flynn becomes a freedom fighter for the oppressed programs of the grid.

This new collection features the original movies and shows, including:

  • Tron
  • Tron: Legacy
  • Tron: Uprising
  • Tron: Ares – A Special Look

And we should expect to see “Tron: Ares” added to this collection when it’s added to Disney+ a few months after its theatrical release in October.

The “Tron” collection can be found within the “All Collections” section on the search tab within Disney+.
