“Stay” Trailer Released

Disney has released a trailer for the upcoming original movie, “Stay”, which comes from Disney’s “Andscape” brand, which is a Black-led media platform dedicated to creating, highlighting, and uplifting the diverse stories of Black identity. 

Stay is a romantic psychological thriller about Kiara, a PhD and best-selling author on African spirituality, and Miles, a former MMA fighter turned trainer. Their marriage, shattered by tragedy, is tested by supernatural forces in their home, forcing them to confront their past and love for each other.

The movie debuted earlier this year at the New Orleans Film Festival.   It has been directed and written by Jas Summers.  The movie has also been produced by Jared Hoffman and Matt Cassaro.

“Stay” will be released on October 8th 2025, on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.  No international release has been confirmed, but generally, most Andscape originals are also released on Disney+ globally.
