Disney Renews “Kiff” For A Third Season
Disney has announced that it has renewed its hit animated film, “Kiff”, for a third season and given an update on the upcoming second season, which is coming soon to the Disney Channel and Disney+.
The series follows Kiff, an optimistic squirrel whose best intentions often lead to complete chaos, and her best friend Barry, a sweet and mellow bunny. Set in the bustling mountains, where animals and magical creatures live together in harmony, the series features the duo, who take the town by storm with their endless adventures and zest for life. Each half-hour episode, comprised of two 11-minute stories, will include a new original song.
Creators Lucy Heavens and Nic Smal will return as executive producers, with Kent Osborne as co-executive producer. Quinn Scott will serve as story editor in season three.
In the second season, Kiff and bunny bestie Barry embark on adventures that take them deeper into their ever-eccentric community of Table Town, where animals and magical oddballs navigate life, school, relationships and the quirks of their offbeat and loveable universe.

Kimiko Glenn and H Michael Croner return to their lead roles as Kiff and Barry, respectively.
The critically acclaimed “Kiff” was nominated for Outstanding Children’s or Young Teen Animated Series and Original Song for a Children’s or Young Teen Program for the 2025 Children’s and Family Emmy Awards. “Kiff” is a top kids animated series of 2024, amassing 11 billion minutes consumed since launch* in addition to nearly 90 million views on YouTube.
Season two of “Kiff” will premiere on Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney XD On Demand on Saturday, 15th March 2025 at 10:00 a.m. EDT/PDT with two episodes, followed by new episodes weekly on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. EDT/PDT. The second season will stream later this summer on Disney+. The first season of “Kiff” is also available to stream now on Disney+.
Roger’s Take: It’s great to see that “Kiff” has been a success and that a third season is heading to our screens, especially just weeks before the new season arrives. It’s also a little frustrating that Disney is returning to the release schedule of giving linear channel viewers access to new episodes months before they arrive on Disney+ instead of offering new episodes at the same time or at least on the next day.
