At last years D23 Expo, Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy and Ewan McGregor announced that a new Star Wars series featuring Obi-Wan Kenobi would be coming to Disney+.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that filming on Obi-Wan Kenobi series would be delayed until next year, as Joby Harold has been brought in to rework the script.   The Illuminerdi, has revealed the original log line for the series, though this might have changed now a new writer has been brought in.

Here is the original logline:

Tatooine, a desert planet where farmers work hard under the heat of two suns. Meanwhile, they try to defend themselves and their loved ones from the marauders Tusken. A planet behind the edge of civilization. And a place where it would be unlikely to find a Jedi master, or an orphan child on whom the future of the entire galaxy weighs on its small shoulders.

Little is known about this new series, other than it is set around 8 years after the events of the “Revenge of the Sith” and it will be directed by Deborah Chow.

Are you looking forward to the new Obi-Wan series?
