Disney has officially announced that “Y: The Last Man” will be coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland in September.

The first three episodes of this new series will be released on Wednesday, 22nd September.  There will be 10 episodes in this series, and we should also expect to see this series available on Disney+ in other countries at some point. New episodes will be released every Wednesday after the premiere.

Based on DC Comics’ acclaimed series by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, Y: The Last Man traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event decimates every mammal with a Y chromosome but for one cisgender man and his pet monkey. The series follows the survivors in this new world as they struggle with their efforts to restore what was lost and the opportunity to build something better.

The new series will be debuting on FX on Hulu in the United States, with the first two episodes arriving on September 13th. Meaning the UK will be just a couple of days behind the US release schedule when it debuts.
