The popular Disney Channel series, “Secrets Of Sulphur Springs” is returning to our screens in early 2022 with a second season.

In season two of “Secrets of Sulphur Springs,” Griffin and Harper unravel new mysteries about The Tremont, and Harper follows the real ghost back to the 1930s to learn more about her family’s deep-seated connection to the hotel. When the power source to the time machine is unintentionally taken and the portal disappears, Harper becomes trapped in the past with her great-uncle Sam and great-great-grandfather Elijah, while her great-grandmother Daisy is left to navigate the present. With help from Savannah from her new life in 1962, the friends attempt to fix the time machine and bring back the portal before it’s too late and their lives are forever changed.

Disney has announced that the first two episodes will be released on the Disney Channel in the United States on Friday 14th January 2022 at 8pm (EST/PST).   They’ve also announced that an initial batch of episodes will also be rolled out on Disney+ and the MVPD VOD platforms in the US around the linear launch. But no specific date has been announced.

The good news for Australia/New Zealand fans, the series has been confirmed to be arriving on Disney+ from Wednesday 19th January 2022.  It’s not currently known if new episodes will be released weekly or in batches, but we do at least know when the show will premiere.

In other countries such as the Canada, UK and Ireland, no Disney+ release date has yet been confirmed.

The first season of the “Secrets Of Sulphur Springs” is available on Disney+ already and the first season was also released differently than any other Disney Channel show, with an experimental first batch of 5 episodes a few weeks after launch, followed by weekly releases.   This release pattern hasn’t been used on any other Disney Channel show since, so it’s hard to predict exactly how Disney will release this series.

Are you looking forward to the second season of the “Secrets Of Sulphur Springs”?
