When Are New Episodes Of “The Wonder Years” Released On Disney+? (UK/Ireland)
One of 2021’s most popular ABC drama series is “The Wonder Years”, which is a coming-of-age story set in the late 1960s that takes a nostalgic look at a Black middle-class family in Montgomery, Alabama, through the point of view of imaginative 12-year-old Dean. With the wisdom of his adult years, Dean’s hopeful and humorous recollections show how his family found their “wonder years” in a turbulent time.
On Disney+ Day, it was announced that this eagerly awaited series would be heading to Disney+ in the UK and Ireland in December.
ABC’s reimagined “The Wonder Years” stars Don Cheadle, narrating the series as adult Dean Williams, Elisha “EJ” Williams as Dean Williams, Dulé Hill as Bill Williams, Saycon Sengbloh as Lillian Williams, Laura Kariuki as Kim Williams, Julian Lerner as Brad Hitman, Amari O’Neil as Cory Long and Milan Ray as Keisa Clemmons.
Lee Daniels, Saladin K. Patterson, Fred Savage and Marc Velez serve as executive producers. The series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios. The pilot episode is written by Saladin Patterson and directed by Fred Savage.
When Will New “The Wonder Years” Episodes Be Released On Disney+?
The first episode of “The Wonder Years” will be released on Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Wednesday 22nd December 2021 and here’s a list of when each of the episodes will be released:

- Episode 2 – Wednesday 29th December 2021
- Episode 3 – Wednesday 5th January 2022
- Episode 4 – Wednesday 12th January 2022

Will “The Wonder Years” Be Released Disney+ in Australia, New Zealand and Canada?
As with other new ABC series, this series is likely to be released on Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand. However, no release date has yet been confirmed.
In Canada, “The Wonder Years” is currently airing on CTV, so I’d expect the series to follow other ABC shows and be released on Disney+ once it’s finished its initial run on CTV.
Is “The Wonder Years” on Netflix?
This series is made by ABC, so will not be available on Netflix, HBO Max, or Amazon. In the United States, the series is available on Hulu.
