Marvel Studios first animated series “What If” is coming to Disney+ this summer and the show flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways.   This new animated series focuses on different heroes from the MCU, featuring a voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their role.  The show features fan-favourite characters, including Peggy Carter, T’Challa, Doctor Strange, Killmonger, Thor and more.

When Will New “What If” Episodes Be Released On Disney+?

The first episode of “What If” will be released on Wednesday 11th August and while Disney announced there would be 10 episodes in the first series, one was delayed and moved to the second season.

Here’s a list of when each of the episodes will be released:

  • Episode 1 – Wednesday 11th August 2021
  • Episode 2 – Wednesday 18th August 2021
  • Episode 3 – Wednesday 25th August 2021
  • Episode 4 – Wednesday 1st September 2021
  • Episode 5 – Wednesday 8th September 2021
  • Episode 6 – Wednesday 15th September 2021
  • Episode 7 – Wednesday 22nd September 2021
  • Episode 8 – Wednesday 29th September 2021
  • Episode 9–  Wednesday 6th October 2021

What Time Will New Episodes Of “Marvel’s What If” Be Released On Disney+

Disney+ updates on Wednesday’s at the following times:

  • Pacific Time: 00:00 AM / Midnight
  • Eastern Time: 03:00 AM
  • UK: 08:00 AM
  • Sydney, Australia – 19:00 PM

Sometimes episodes can arrive a few minutes later as the servers update. The Disney+ front page usually updates about an hour later.

How Many Episodes Of  “Marvel’s What If” Are There?

It’s been announced that there are 10 episodes in the first season of Marvel Studios’ What If.  However, due to delays, one of those episodes has been moved to the second season.  Resulting in the first season consisting of just 9 episodes.

Is “Marvel’s What If” on Netflix or Hulu?

This series is made by Marvel Studios exclusively for Disney+, so will not be available on any other streaming service such as Paramount+, Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon or Hulu.
