It’s Sunday and time for us to take a look at what’s trending on Disney+ this week. Up until last week, the trending charts around the world were almost identical, however, the launch of Star in 17 countries including the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, has resulted in a massive impact on what is now trending on Disney+.

The biggest new entries onto this week’s trending chart in the United States was “Myth: A Frozen Tale”, which was originally released as a VR Short but was remade for Disney+.  This week also saw the first five episodes of the Disney Channel’s new show “Secrets Of Sulphur Springs” added to Disney+, instantly making a jump into the top 10.

“WandaVision” was the most popular series in all four countries, with “Flora and Ulysses” also continuing to be the most popular Disney+ Original movie.

The launch of Star has had a massive impact on the trending chart around the world and with many existing streaming contracts still in place, there are lots of regional differences in the availability of titles.

Adult animation has quickly become a very popular genre on Disney+, with the addition of “Family Guy”, “American Dad” and “Futurama”, with the new “Star Original” “Solar Opposites” also being very popular.
