It’s Sunday and time for us to take a look at what’s trending on Disney+ this week and as per usual, there is a massive difference between the US and UK trending charts, as internationally, Disney+ subscribers continue to binge on major mature shows like “Family Guy”, “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Criminal Minds”, while in the US, Disney Channel shows like “Bluey” and “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” dominate the majority of the trending chart.

Luca continues to be the most popular film on Disney+ around the world and new episodes of the latest Disney+ Originals like “The Bad Batch” have kept them higher in the trending chart.

The two main new entries onto this weeks trending chart is Marvel Studio’s “What If?” plus a new collection of three shorts featuring Goofy, sharing some tips on how to stay at home, also debuted on the US trending chart.

  1. Ernesto Chacon August 17, 2021

Now 9 weeks since June 27 and to think the Simpsons remaining Number one on Disney+ in the US for 4+ weeks (8-10 weeks) last year was that long. At this rate, it will feel repetitive to have Bluey be #1 for another 10+ weeks similar to how The Simpsons remained #1 on Disney+ from July-October 2020. The reason for Bluey being #1 has to do with moving their Disney+ originals to Wednesdays over Fridays.
