Today, Disney has added the 2015 live-action version of Cinderella onto Disney+ in the United States.

After her father unexpectedly dies, young Ella (Lily James) finds herself at the mercy of her cruel stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and stepsisters, who reduce her to scullery maid. Despite her circumstances, she refuses to despair. An invitation to a palace ball gives Ella hope that she might reunite with the dashing stranger (Richard Madden) she met in the woods, but her stepmother prevents her from going. Help arrives in the form of a kindly beggar woman who has a magic touch for ordinary things.

The film stars Dowton Abbey’s Lily James as Cinderella, with Cate Blanchett playing the Wicked Stepmother. It also stars Richard Madden as the Prince and Helena Bonham Carter as the Fairy Godmother.

Its great that now we have almost all of the live action remakes of classic Disney films available on Disney+ here in the United States since they're only 2 films in that line up that will come very soon which is Christopher Robin (which is coming next Friday) and Maleficent (coming on October 1st) so that collection will soon be complete. But with the addition of Cinderella and the beginning of a new month we lost one film here in the US which is Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Day (which i hope comes back very soon).

Cinderella 2015 live action was added on Sept. 1st however Disney Plus has removed it a month later. Do you know why?

Well I did some research because I literally watched it every day. Apparently they took it off in the USA only and it's now on Sling again. Contract issues so they say. Hopefully it will be back soon but I got so mad about it I went to Google and bought it. Lol Hope this helps. No clue if and when it's coming back either.
