It’s Friday and time to take a look at what’s been added to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland today. There are some great new horror films for Halloween and some new National Geographic documentaries to enjoy.
Here’s the rundown:
Strangest Bird Alive
Discovering the remarkable oddities of the ostrich through the story of one male, which dances its way to impressing an array of females, battles potential rivals, and stops at nothing to protect its brood from potential threats
The Other Side of the Door (2016)
Maria (Sarah Wayne Callies) becomes consumed with guilt after losing her son Oliver (Logan Creran) in a tragic accident. She learns about a remote Hindu temple where visitors can communicate with the dead to say goodbye for the last time. The grieving mother disobeys a dire warning to never open the ancient door that serves as a mysterious portal. Her failure to follow the rules causes Oliver’s restless spirit to return home and haunt the rest of his family (Jeremy Sisto, Sofia Rosinsky).
The Hills Have Eyes 2 (2007)
A team of National Guard trainees are sent to a military base in a desert to supply provisions to the scientists working there. When they arrive at the camp, they find that it is abandoned.
The Hills Have Eyes (2006)
Based on Wes Craven’s 1977 suspenseful cult classic, The Hills Have Eyes is the story of a family road trip that goes terrifyingly awry when the travelers become stranded in a government atomic zone. Miles from nowhere, the Carter family soon realizes the seemingly uninhabited wasteland is actually the breeding ground of a blood-thirsty mutant family…and they are the prey.
