It’s Friday and time to take a look at what’s arrived on Disney+ today, which includes a new season of “Zenimation”, plus the first episode of a brand new Australian drama series “The Gloaming” has been released as a Star Original. Plus there are lots of other Disney+ and Star Originals to enjoy.

Here’s the rundown:

Zenimation – Season 2

“Zenimation,” the series that creates a mindfulness soundscape experience with scenes from the timeless films of Walt Disney Animation Studios returns for a second season June 11 with all-new episodes. Season 2 features moments from over eight decades of acclaimed films – including scenes from Disney’s first feature “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” all the way through to the Studios’ latest, anticipated animated film, “Raya and the Last Dragon.” Unplug, relax, and refresh your senses with an aural experience like no other as “Zenimation” pays tribute to both the visual and sound artists who have created Disney Animation’s legacy of films. High School Musical – The Musical – The Series – Episode 205 “The Quinceañero”

Gina and Seb rally the group to throw Carlos the music and dance-filled Quinceañero he never had. Meanwhile, Ricky accidentally oversteps in more ways than one, and Miss Jenn gets a wild idea about how to get Nini back onstage at East High.

Big Shot – Episode 109 “Beth MacBeth”

UCSB expresses interest in hiring Marvyn, while his team grows suspicious. Beth Macbeth premieres.

Star Wars – The Bad Batch – Episode 7

“Star Wars: The Bad Batch” follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch—a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army—each possess a singular exceptional skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.

M.O.D.O.K – Episode 4

M.O.D.O.K. is not allowed into the Leader’s fancy club unless he steals Captain America’s shield, So, he recruits a gang of has-been super villains from the Bar With No Name, but the heist does not go according to plan.

Big Sky – Episode 13

Cassie and Jenny hear that a body has been discovered on the Kleinsasser ranch and, fearing the worst, Jenny takes the investigation up a notch, but the Kleinsassers have a plan of their own. Meanwhile, Cassie teams up with Lindor to follow a hot lead on Ronald, who, suspicious that his whereabouts have been revealed, decides to do some damage control—or perhaps just damage.

Genius: Aretha – Episode 3 & 4

Aretha is featured on the cover of Time Magazine in 1968, but she is devastated when the article focusses on the scandalous details of her personal life. Barbara Franklin and Young CL Franklin struggle to establish themselves in Memphis in 1941, before Little Re is born.

Grown-ish – Season 3 – Episode 7

Sky finally returns to the track, only to run into a new complication. Jazz struggles to balance track and her personal life. Zoey struggles to balance school and her new job as a fashion stylist and turns to an unexpected source for help. Meanwhile, things heat up for Ana and Javi as they attempt to keep things professional.

Rebel – Episode 3

Rebel and a group of residents take a stand to fight for clean water. Meanwhile, Cassidy’s new role puts the Stonemore case in jeopardy, and Grady grows frustrated when Rebel remains consumed with her work; and Cruz reaches his breaking point.

Filthy Rich – Episode 10 – Finale

In the shocking series finale, the Monreaux family finds out an explosive secret that threatens to tear them apart. Meanwhile, with Mark and Rose ready to take a serious next step in their relationship, Margaret feels compelled to intervene and protect Rose.

The Gloaming – Season 1 Episode – 1

When a woman is found brutally murdered, evidence discovered at the scene links the murder to a 20-year-old unsolved crime. Detectives and old flames Molly McGee and Alex O’Connell are reunited after a long absence to solve the crime.

Secrets Of Sulphur Springs – Finale

Harper travels back in time to the date her father died in hopes of trying to change the outcome.

The Long Road Home E1-8

The First Cavalry Division of the US army gets ambushed during the siege of the Sadr City in Baghdad. The family of the soldiers wait for more than 48 hours to get updates of the war.

Heroes of the Long Road Home with Martha Raddatz

Based on Martha Raddatz’s New York Times Best-Seller of the same name, the series relives a heroic fight for survival during the Iraq War, when the 1st Cavalry Division from Fort Hood was ferociously ambushed on April 4, 2004, in Sadr City, Baghdad — a day that came to be known as “Black Sunday.” The series cuts between the action on the ground in Iraq and that of the homefront back in Texas, where wives and families await news for 48 hellish hours, expecting the worst.

Africa’s Hidden Wonders E1-3

From wild deserts and active volcanoes to huge lakes and rivers, Africa is a country of extreme variation. Across this astonishing continent, the animals struggle for their survival under very harsh conditions.
