No Man Left Behind S1

The producers of National Geographic Channel’s critically acclaimed “Locked Up Abroad” are behind a series that sheds light on every soldier’s worst nightmare: to be trapped in enemy territory. “No Man Left Behind” combines personal testimony with re-enactments and archival footage to tell dramatic stories of modern war heroes who overcame incredible odds in some of the most hostile environments on Earth. Perspective is also provided on how the ever-present battle memories shape the survivors’ current lives. The premiere details the deadly 1993 battle in Mogadishu between U.S. forces and Somali militia that inspired a best-selling book and the feature film “Black Hawk Down.” Reunited for the first time on camera, the pilot of the downed helicopter and two of the soldiers involved in the battle recount the intense details of one of the most horrific scenes in U.S. military history since the Vietnam War.

Anna

The series is adapted from Niccolo Ammaniti’s novel and follows a young girl, fighting for survival in a world devastated by a deadly pandemic.

In her long trip through burnt fields and mysterious woods, among the ruins of shopping centers and abandoned cities, through the large desolated spaces of an island that nature and wild communities of survivors have managed to win back, Anna can rely on a notebook her mother left her with the instructions to survive. And day after day she discovers that the rules of the past no longer apply; she will have to invent new ones.

Legion – Season 1 – 3

David Haller is a troubled young man who was diagnosed with schizophrenia as a child. Shuffled from one psychiatric institution to the next, in his early 30s, David met and fell in love with a beautiful and troubled fellow patient named Syd. After a startling encounter with her, he was forced to confront the shocking possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees may actually be real. Syd led David to Melanie Bird, a demanding but nurturing therapist who heads a team of specialists — Ptonomy, Kerry, and Cary — each of whom possesses a unique and extraordinary gift. Together, they helped David to recognize and harness his hidden abilities and unlock a deeply suppressed truth — he had been haunted his entire life by a malicious parasite of unimaginable power.
