It’s Friday and time to take a look at what’s new on Disney+ today in Australia and New Zealand The biggest new release of the day is “Black Widow” on Disney+ Premier Access. There is also new episodes of “The Mysterious Benedict Society”, “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” plus “The Bad Batch”.

Black Widow – Premier Access
In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller “Black Widow,” Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
High School Musical – The Musical – The Series – Season 2 – Episode 9
When Gina finds herself stranded at the airport over Spring Break, a surprise run-in changes her mind about what she wants. Meanwhile, the separated Wildcats find a way to bond over song during their break, as Ricky finally sees his mom again after their opening night run-in at “High School Musical.”
The Mysterious Benedict Society – Episode 4
Placed undercover at a boarding school known as The Institute, a group of orphans must foil a nefarious plot with global ramifications while creating a new sort of family along the way. Based on the bestseller by Trenton Lee Stewart which Time Magazine called “one of the best young adult books of all time,” The Mysterious Benedict Society” stars Emmy® Award winner Tony Hale in the titular role and features a standout ensemble of young actors.

Star Wars – The Bad Batch – Episode 11

Family Guy – Season 19 – Episode 18
Meg endures a college admissions scandal caused by Peter and Lois; Brian goes on a fitness journey.
Rebel – Episode 7
Against Rebel’s advice, Cruz turns to a familiar source to help dig up proof that proves the Stonemore valve is faulty. Elsewhere, Rebel, Cassidy and Grady come together to help Ziggy after learning that her friends have been unjustly expelled from school. Meanwhile, Lana continues to search for more information about Angela and instead is confronted with a shocking revelation.
M.O.D.O.K – Episode 8
M.O.D.O.K. and Jodie have reconciled and the kids have decided to do everything their father wants, too. Things couldn’t be better, or could they all somehow be caught in a dastardly plan by a familiar foe?
Bob’s Burgers – Season 11 – Episode 16
Tina develops an unexpected crush when she must listen to Spanish audio lessons to improve her grade; Louise and Gene hope to dunk Mr. Frond at the Wagstaff Spring Fair.
Station 19 – Season 4 – Episode 15
When Vic helps her parents through a devastating loss, they have a long overdue conversation about the anguish of being Black in America.
Shark Beach With Chris Helmsworth
Chris Hemsworth is on a mission to uncover the science of shark behavior and discover how humans and sharks can safely coexist. After an increase in local shark attacks along the east coast of Australia, Hemsworth seeks to understand different species of sharks and their behaviors while also exploring new preventative measures and the latest technology to help stave off shark-human encounters. The special from Nutopia (“One Strange Rock”) also features underwater conservationist and legend Valerie Taylor.
DRAIN ALCATRAZ uses cutting edge visual effects to ‘drain’ the waters around the notorious island of Alcatraz. With the waters drained away the secrets of Alcatraz are revealed, including exactly why the island’s infamous prison was so inescapable. With no water in the way San Francisco Bay is revealed to be a fascinating and chaotic place. On the dry bay floor we see the scars left by epic earthquakes. These fault lines give scientists an idea as to when and where the next ‘big one’ will strike. With the whole area drained it’s possible to see what could happen to San Francisco when the next giant quake hits, as well as what will be left of Alcatraz once the dust settles.
Drain the Bermuda Triangle
Infamous disappearances of ships and aircrafts, stories of lives lost – it’s all part of the legend of the 500,000 square mile expanse of the Atlantic Ocean known as the Bermuda Triangle. In this one-hour special, National Geographic Channel explores the ominous reputation by literally draining the water from this area to see what exactly lies below the surface of the mythical triangle. Using actual data from sophisticated sonar surveys, see what the ocean floor looks like below the Bermuda Triangle. Witness what strange geological features will be revealed and whether they will shed light on the mysterious occurrences that have been documented within the boundaries of this area of ocean.
Drain the Sunken Pirate City
Port Royal, the ‘wickedest city on Earth’, famous for its Caribbean pirates, liquor and whores, is torn apart on June 7th 1692 by quake and tsunami. Two thirds of buildings are sucked into the ocean, the rest buried where they sink. 2,000 die. Marine archaeologist Jon Henderson goes in search of what happened. Scientific data combines with computer graphics to DRAIN the waters to investigate final moments and resurrect past secrets.
