With the start of a new month, we unfortunately often see some titles leave Disney+ in the United States to head to other streaming services due to existing contracts made before the Walt Disney Company purchased 20th Century Fox.

These titles will eventually return to Disney+ in the United States, ie “The Wolverine” returned to Disney+ this month after being removed in 2020.

Unlike other streaming services, Disney+ doesn’t announce any titles that are leaving the service.

For January 2021, we’ve seen two 20th Century Studios movies leave Disney+ in the United States:

The Fault In Our Stars

Hazel Grace Lancaster (Shailene Woodley), a 16-year-old cancer patient, meets and falls in love with Gus Waters (Ansel Elgort), a similarly afflicted teen from her cancer support group. Hazel feels that Gus really understands her. They both share the same acerbic wit and a love of books, especially Grace’s touchstone, “An Imperial Affliction” by Peter Van Houten. When Gus scores an invitation to meet the reclusive author, he and Hazel embark on the adventure of their brief lives.

Cheaper by the Dozen 2

Tom Baker, a retired coach, takes his family on a vacation to relax and spend time with his children, who are all growing up. However, they are soon drawn into a battle against his old rival.

    Unfortunately, the Disney Channel Holiday House Party also left Disney+.

    If only they would temporarily remove Quints, Motocrossed, Hounded, Cadet Kelly, and The Cheetah Girls 1 so they could replace them with the 16:9 versions that used to be on Disney Channel On Demand US the last time they had them, and while we’re at it, they need to fix the audio pitch on the Zenon trilogy.
