With the start of a new month, it unfortunately means some titles have been removed from Disney+ in the United States.  It’s unknown how long these titles will be temporarily unavailable on Disney+.

Titles removed include:

  • Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief
  • The Sandlot 2 (Coming to Starz on April 10th)
  • Never Been Kissed
  • Dan in Real Life (Now On Showtime)
  • The Pacifier (Now HBO)
  • While You Were Sleeping (Now On Showtime)

Usually these have been removed temporarily, because of existing contracts with other platforms, many of them by 20th Century Fox before Disney purchased them.  Once these contracts have expired, they will return to Disney+.   It should be noted that “Never Been Kissed” has been removed before and brought back within weeks.

Hopefully they will be returned to Disney+ soon.

What's the point off adding content if its jist gonna be removed at a later date, why can't they wait till all contracts are up for a title before adding it instead of playing hot potatoe?
