It’s Monday and time to take a look at what’s coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland this week. It’s another bumper week for new content on Disney+ with the first 3 episodes of a brand new FX series “Y: The Last Man” and a collection of 9 new Star Wars shorts created by Japanese Anime studios, plus lots of new library content and new episodes of Disney+ and Star Originals like “Turner & Hooch” and “American Horror Stories”.

Monday 20th September
Walking Dead – Season 11 – Episode 5
Aaron, Carol, Lydia, and Jerry go to the Hilltop ruins for blacksmith tools and nearby game; Eugene’s group goes through orientation at the Commonwealth; Maggie and Negan trudge through the woods; Judith and the kids clash with teenagers.

Star Wars Visions
Star Wars: Visions will be a series of animated short films celebrating Star Wars through the lens of the world’s best anime creators. The anthology collection brings together some fantastic visions from several of the leading Japanese anime studios, offering a fresh and diverse cultural perspective to Star Wars.
All episodes of “Star Wars: Visions” will be released on Disney+ on September 22nd, 2021.
Marvel’s What If – Episode 7
“What If…?” flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways. Marvel Studios’ first animated series focuses on different heroes from the MCU, featuring a voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their roles

Based on DC Comics’ acclaimed series by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, Y: The Last Man traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event decimates every mammal with a Y chromosome but for one cisgender man and his pet monkey. The series follows the survivors in this new world as they struggle with their efforts to restore what was lost and the opportunity to build something better.

Dian Fossey: Secrets in the Mist
Dian Fossey changed the way people view gorillas. She told the world how they lived and dedicated years to fighting a battle against encroaching gorilla poachers. Her obsession may have ended up killing her. Three decades after Fossey was murdered in a remote mountain cabin in Rwanda, National Geographic looks back at her life and legacy, from childhood and her early days researching in Congo, through to her arrival in Rwanda, where she spent 18 years studying and protecting the mountain gorilla population. Featured across three parts are extensive use of archival footage and still images, interviews with people who knew and worked with Dian — including Wayne McGuire, the man convicted in absentia of her murder — and the primatologist’s own writings. The series is narrated by Sigourney Weaver, who won a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Fossey in the 1988 film `Gorillas in the Mist’.

Although written up as a secular, peoples’ revolution ‘Inside the Muslim Brotherhood’ exposes the hidden role of Egypt’s most powerful political organisation. The film gains extensive access to leading figures within the Muslim Brotherhood and reveals both how they kept popular support despite being banned from the political arena and what their plans are now for the future of the country.
