It’s the start of a new week and time to take a look at what’s coming to Disney+ this week in Australia and New Zealand, which includes a brand new Marvel animated series, “Hit-Monkey” and much more.

Wednesday 17th November

Marvel’s Hit-Monkey

The upcoming Marvel animated series “Hit Monkey” tells the story of a Japanese snow monkey who seeks vengeance after his tribe is slaughtered. He joins forces with the ghost of an American assassin and together, they begin killing their way through the Yakuza underworld. The series features the vocal talents of George Takei, Jason Sudeikis, Olivia Munn, Ally Maki, Nobi Nakanishi and Fred Tatasciore.



The Night House

From director, David Bruckner comes “The Night House”. Reeling from the unexpected death of her husband, Beth (Rebecca Hall) is left alone in the lakeside home he built for her. She tries as best she can to keep it together – but then nightmares come. Disturbing visions of a presence in the house calling to her, beckoning her with a ghostly allure. Against the advice of her friends, she begins digging into her husband’s belongings, yearning for answers. What she finds are secrets both strange and disturbing – a mystery she’s determined to unravel.


Dopesick – Episode 3

Doctor Finnix begins to take Betsy off OxyContin, Bridget sees the toll the it’s taking on communities, Rick and Randy investigate the world of “pain societies” and, with sales climbing, Richard Sackler makes bigger plans for his new drug.

Station 19 – Season 5 – Episode 1

Relationships are challenged at Station 19 following Sullivan’s actions at Maya and Carina’s wedding, putting his marriage with Andy to the test. Dean comes to terms with his feelings for Vic, while Travis rekindles an old flame.



Underworld, Inc. – Season 2

Each year the U.S. economy is flush with more than $500 billion generated in illegal transactions. From sex, weapons and drugs to gambling and counterfeit merchandise, nothing is off limits and seemingly everything is for sale. In “Underworld, Inc.,” National Geographic Channel is granted unprecedented access to this “free” enterprise. Workers, suppliers, sellers, customers — and law enforcement personnel trying to keep it in check — share their experiences of an underground industry that is brutal, exploitive and corrupt.


Mickey Mouse Funhouse – (S1, 7 episodes)

To help them find out if dragons are good or bad, Funny takes Mickey, Minnie, and their friends to the Kingdom of Majestica, where they are transformed into knights, knaves, and princesses.


Friday 19th November

Adventure Thru The Walt Disney Archives

The documentary is a celebration of The Walt Disney Archives’ for its 50th anniversary and is hosted by legendary producer Don Hahn. The film looks at beloved Disney icons, including its theme parks and Studio lot, through an engaging, historical lens, as Hahn speaks with Walt Disney Archives director Becky Cline and other members of the Archives team. Each stop on the adventure offers a look at some of the iconic artifacts that have played a role in shaping The Walt Disney Company. The film, directed by John Gleim, features new interviews with Disney Executive Chairman Bob Iger, Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige, Pixar’s Pete Docter, film historian Leonard Maltin, and many more.


Galacticos

This three-part documentary series charts Florentino Perez’ Galactico revolution at Real Madrid at the turn of the century. The documentary includes fascinating insights from a stellar cast of Real Madrid legends, including Iker Casillas, Roberto Carlos, Fernando Hierro, Claude Makélélé, Fernando Morientes, Steve McManaman and Manager Vicente del Bosque, alongside individuals closest to Perez. The three-part series traces Real Madrid’s time under Perez, from his Presidential win and controversial transfer of Luis Figo from bitter rivals Barcelona in July 2000, to the resignation of his first term as Real Madrid President in February 2006 following the fallout from his ‘Galáctico’ vision.



Oil Spill of the Century

Revisiting the scene of one of the biggest oil spills France has ever seen: The Amoco Cadiz. And a look at how nature recovered from this catastrophe and what was learnt.


All I See Is You

Gina is a beautiful young woman who’s still haunted by the accident that took her sight years earlier. Living in Bangkok with her husband, James, she undergoes a cutting-edge operation that restores the vision to her right eye. Now that Gina can see again, she slowly starts to realize that her newfound independence makes James feel jealous, threatened and insecure.


Shock and Awe (2018)

As the United States military prepare to invade Iraq in 2003, sceptical journalists question the Bush administration’s claim that Saddam Hussein is in possession of weapons of mass destruction.


Survive and Advance (2013)

“Survive and Advance” is about a team of destiny, led by a once-in-a-generation coach, that capped the last true golden age of college basketball.
