It’s the start of a brand new week and time to check in to see what’s coming to Disney+ in the United States this week. There is plenty of new content heading to Disney+ this week including a new collection of Star Wars shorts created by some of the best Japanese Anime studios plus new episodes of Disney+ Originals including Marvel’s “What If?”

Wednesday 22nd September
Star Wars Visions
Star Wars: Visions will be a series of animated short films celebrating Star Wars through the lens of the world’s best anime creators. The anthology collection brings together some fantastic visions from several of the leading Japanese anime studios, offering a fresh and diverse cultural perspective to Star Wars.
All episodes of “Star Wars: Visions” will be released on Disney+ on September 22nd, 2021.
Star Wars: Visions (Filmmaker Focus)
Seven Japanese anime studios bring their unique talent and perspective to “Star Wars: Visions”—a collection of animated short films that will stream exclusively on Disney+.
The studios creating the nine shorts include Kamikaze Douga, Geno Studio, Studio Colorido, TRIGGER, Kinema Citrus, Science Saru, and Production I.G.
Marvel’s What If – Episode 7
“What If…?” flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways. Marvel Studios’ first animated series focuses on different heroes from the MCU, featuring a voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their roles.
Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. – Episode 3 – “License To Not Drive”
Now that Lahela has her driver’s license, she yearns for a little freedom — specifically, access to her mom’s car and a trip to Starbucks with her best friend, Steph. However, Clara is hesitant to hand over the keys. When Lahela’s patient, local celebrity weatherman Rip Tide, recommends that she take more risks and get behind the wheel of her own life, Lahela takes his advice quite literally. She takes the family car without permission.

Dog: Impossible (S2)
Dog behaviour specialist Matt Beisner works with canines to help modify their behaviour and develop a healthy relationship between the dogs and their owners.
Spidey And His Amazing Friends (S1), 7 episodes
Spidey teams up with Ghost-Spider and Miles Morales to make up the Spidey Team, with some assistance from Spidey’s comical but loyal Spider-bot, Trace.
Friday 24th September
A Spark Story
Feature-length documentary “A Spark Story”—a co-production of Pixar Animation Studios and Supper Club—takes an intimate look at Pixar’s SparkShorts filmmaking process, highlighting two new shorts— “Twenty Something” and “Nona”—and the filmmakers behind them.
In a race against a no-good hound, the Buddies and their new friends, Pip, Zelda, Rodney and Skip, must stop Warwick the Warlock and save the world from his dastardly deeds.
The Fault in Our Stars
Two cancer-afflicted teenagers Hazel and Augustus meet at a cancer support group. The two of them embark on a journey to visit a reclusive author in Amsterdam.
