November is the one year anniversary of Disney+ launching and there are lots of Disney+ Originals arriving throughout the month including new episodes of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, The Right Stuff and The Magic Of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  Along with some new additions to the Disney+.

NOTE – This list isn’t complete and will be updated with new additions as they are announced.  Content may vary depending on your country and this list is based on the US release schedule.

Friday 6th November


Star Wars: The Mandalorian – Season 2 – Episode 2

The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire


Magic of Disney’s Animal KingdomEpisode Seven – The Big Egg Switcheroo

Big sisters reign supreme in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! On the savanna, teenage African elephant Nadirah is a great babysitter for her little sister, Stella, but her skittishness remains a major growing pain. Animal care experts Erin and Elizabeth must get creative to help Nadirah face her fear and cross a bridge that connects two parts of the elephant habitat. At The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT, Harry, a rescued green sea turtle, must swim to a specific target for his leafy dinner — a skill he needs in order to graduate to the main tank. At Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail, Alika, a little colobus monkey with a penchant for creating chaos, becomes a big sister — a first for the park! Meanwhile, endangered vultures Carri and Bones try to fill their nest, but when the lovebirds can’t agree on the best way to build a home, animal keeper Tricia steps in to assist.


Weird But True – Episode 313 – Rockets

Patrick just got a cool model rocket, and everybody’s talking about it. A Weird But True! Space Race has officially begun, and Carly and Charlie compete in a series of launches that closely resembles the storyline of the US / Soviet Union Space Race. After learning some key physics principles about rocket flight, they race back to headquarters to build a rocket of their own.


The Right Stuff – Episode 6 – “VOSTOK”

JFK sends a science committee to Cape Canaveral to assess the validity of the space program. Glenn, burning from the results of the peer vote, drafts letters to politicians complaining that Shepard is morally unfit to be the first man in space. But matters of internal power plays and a skeptical president are soon dwarfed by news out of Russia that could be the nail in Project Mercury’s coffin


One Day At Disney Short – Episode 149 – “Leslie Evans: Senior R&D Imagineer”

Leslie Evans creatively applies cutting-edge technology to bring Disney theme park stories to life. A life-long Walt Disney World fan, Leslie has always been fascinated by the intersection of creativity and engineering. She uses her diverse background in both Industrial Design and Materials Science Engineering to invent new and innovative guest experiences for Disney parks around the globe


Disney Goldie & Bear (s1 & 2)

Everyone is familiar with the story of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears,” but there’s never been a follow-up that lets people know what happened after Goldilocks found the porridge that was just right. “Goldie and Bear” fixes that by reuniting the girl with Bear as they begin a new, unexpected friendship. Along with their friends and neighbors — who are all taken from popular storybook tales — Goldie and Bear seek out fun and adventures, which include helping Jack and Jill get up that infamous hill and rescuing Humpty Dumpty after his great fall. While the episodes might be filled with fairy-tale characters, they provide valuable real-life lessons for children, including how to develop friendships.


Disney Junior Fancy Nancy: Fancy it Yourself (s1)

Six-year-old Nancy is excited to experience what the world has to offer and to celebrate the differences that make everyone unique.


Mr Magoo (US)

An eccentric millionaire who suffers from poor eyesight refuses to wear eyeglasses and gets into trouble. During a robbery in a museum, he finds a priceless gem and paves the way for the robbers.


The Christmas Carol (US)

Ebenezer Scrooge, a spiteful and miserly man, encounters three spirits on Christmas Eve, who show him the folly of his ways and prompt him to become a better man.


Prep & Landing

Disney presents Prep & Landing, a spirited comic adventure, bound to become a holiday tradition at your home for years to come – complete with two bonus socking stuffer shorts! On Christmas Eve, a high-tech team of elves from an elite unit known a `Prep & Landing’ ensures homes around the world are prepared for Santa’s visit. But after working tirelessly for 227 years, an elf named Wayne is upset when he doesn’t receive a promotion to be Director of Naughty List Intelligence. Instead, he is partnered with Lanny, an idealistic rookie. During their mission, Wayne and Lanny encounter unexpected challenges that push them to their limits and threaten Christmas for children everywhere. Now it’s going to take a great big effort from two mismatched little elves to save the season!


Prep & Landing: Naughty Vs Nice

With the Big 2-5 fast approaching, Wayne and Lanny must race to recover classified North Pole technology which has fallen into the hands of a computer-hacking Naughty Kid! Desperate to prevent Christmas from descending into chaos, Wayne seeks out the foremost Naughty Kid Field Expert to aid in the mission: a bombastic member of the Coal Elf Brigade who also happens to be his estranged brother, Noel.

Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Episode 8 Finale – Baby Gorilla Grace

Flash, a mature, whitespotted bamboo shark with a plucky streak, bites off more than she can chew and winds up in the emergency room under the care of Dr. Deidre when she swallows an item that’s not on the menu. Meanwhile, baby Grace, a western lowland gorilla, reaches new heights as animal keeper Courtney works with child-development experts to test her motor coordination. At Kilimanjaro Safaris, Gus the hippo makes a ‘frenemy’ out of an older hippo at the river playground; and on the savanna, Dugan, a southern white rhino, learns that love hurts when the female rhinos greet him a bit too enthusiastically.


The Right Stuff – Episode 7 –“Ziggurat”

On the Eve of the flight, Louise learns of Shepard’s affair in Tijuana. Trudy watches Gordo crack a joke about women astronauts on television. Glenn awaits the humiliating moment when the world will finally learn he won’t be first. Tensions reach a breaking point when Shepard and Glenn are forced together in a pressure cooker of weather delays, marital discord, and a circus of reporters.


One Day At Disney Short – Episode 150 – “Mark Gonzalez: Steam Train Engineer”

A train lover all his life, Steam Train Engineer Mark Gonzales fulfills his dream of working at Disneyland Resort. To Mark, it’s more than just a train ride, and he strives to create memorable moments for guests as he transports them around the parks on one of Walt’s favorite attractions.


Inside Pixar

A documentary series of personal and cinematic stories that provide an inside look into the people, artistry, and culture of Pixar Animation Studios.


Home Alone

Eight-year-old Kevin is accidentally left behind when his family leaves for France. At first, he is happy to be in charge, but when thieves try to break into his home, he tries to put up a fight.


Home Alone 2

Kevin accidentally boards a flight to New York City and gets separated from his family who are on their way to Miami. He then bumps into two of his old enemies, who plan to rob a toy store.


Home Alone 3

Eight-year-old Alex fends off thieves who are trying to acquire a top-secret computer chip that they have hidden in his toy car, with which they intend to help a terrorist group.


Petra: City of Riches

In the heart of the Jordanian desert, the ancient city of Petra is full of mysteries. How was this architectural wonder created over 2,000 years ago?


Ultimate Viking Sword

Tuesday 17th November

LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special

“The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special” reunites Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose and the droids for a joyous feast on Life Day, a holiday first introduced in the 1978 “Star Wars Holiday Special.” The new LEGO special is the first to debut on Disney+ and will continue the rich legacy of collaboration between Lucasfilm and LEGO—playful adventures told in the endearingly irreverent way that only LEGO Star Wars cobranded content can.   Directly following the events of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” Rey leaves her friends to prepare for Life Day as she sets off on a new adventure with BB-8 to gain a deeper knowledge of the Force. At a mysterious Jedi Temple, she is hurled into a cross-timeline adventure through beloved moments in Star Wars cinematic history, coming into contact with Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan and other iconic heroes and villains from all nine Skywalker saga films. But will she make it back in time for the Life Day feast and learn the true meaning of holiday spirit?


Wednesday 18th November

The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse – Episode 1 & 2

In “The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse,” it’s nothing but fun and excitement for Mickey and his best pals – Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto – as they embark on their greatest adventures yet, navigating the curveballs of a wild and zany world where the magic of Disney makes the impossible possible. Each seven-minute short is filled with laugh-out-loud comedy, modern settings, timeless stories, new music and the unmistakable classic art style of the “Mickey Mouse” shorts. The series will include stories inspired by various lands at Disney parks and cameos by classic Disney heritage characters.

“Supermarket Scramble”
Mickey and his friends’ plans for a barbeque get sidetracked after a quick trip to the supermarket turns into an odyssey.

“Cheesewranglers”
Mickey Mouse attempts to wrangle a prized herd across the stunning vistas of the Big Thunder Valley, but Peg-Leg Pete stands in his way.

The Right Stuff – Episode 8 – Flight – Finale

After Shepard’s dramatic voyage to space, he feels underwhelmed and restless. Heeding Glenn’s advice, Shepard attempts to quell his ambition with gratitude for his wife and children. While Shepard’s marriage somehow remains intact, Gordo and Trudy’s may never recover. Meanwhile, when JFK publicly issues a challenge for NASA to send a man to the moon, Glenn’s drive to top Shepard is reignited.

Marvel 616

“Marvel’s 616” explores Marvel’s rich legacy of pioneering characters, creators and storytelling to reflect the world outside your window. Each documentary, helmed by a unique filmmaker, showcases the intersections of storytelling, pop culture, and fandom within the Marvel Universe. Episodes in this anthology series will cover topics including Marvel’s world-spanning artists, the trailblazing women of Marvel Comics, discovering the “forgotten” characters of Marvel, and much more.


The Real Right Stuff

“The Real Right Stuff” tells the remarkable true story of the nation’s first astronauts, the original Mercury 7, and pulls from hundreds of hours of archival film and radio broadcasts, interviews, home movies and other rare and never-before-seen material to catapult viewers back to the late 1950s. The two-hour documentary, from National Geographic, complements the Disney+ original scripted series “The Right Stuff” which will premiere its season finale on the same day.

Dusty, a crop duster plane, dreams of becoming a great air racer. Along with his friend, Chug, a fuel truck, Dusty practises flying manoeuvres in order to qualify for the Wings Across the Globe race.


Planes – Fire and Rescue (US)

Dusty Crophopper is a celebrity racer with a fantastic career. He trains to become a certified firefighter, even as his career comes to an end.


Bia (Season 1)

The show tells the story of a group of young people dedicated to creating content for the Internet develop and share their talents in a space full of romance and friendships.

Black Beauty

In this modern day reimagining of Anna Sewell’s timeless classic, we follow Black Beauty, a wild horse born free in the American West. The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse – Episode 3 & 4

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (US)

The Adventures of Yellow Dog: Far From Home

Angus, a teenager, adopts a stray dog and names him Yellow. During a trip, Angus and Yellow get trapped in the wilderness and struggle to survive, while his parents seek help from rescue teams.


Marvel’s Spider-man: Maximum Venom (s3)

The web-slinging series follows Peter Parker, who is learning to navigate life as the teenage superhero Spider-Man. Once Upon a Time in Wonderland

In this Once Upon A Time spin-off, Alice, a young and beautiful girl, recounts the tale of a strange new land that lies on the other side of the rabbit hole.

    It was recently announced that the 20th Century Studios film Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World is leaving Hulu on October 31st i wonder if this means that this film will show up on Disney+ in this month which would be a very nice addition to the platform because not only is that film a very great film but with Disney+ celebrating its 1 year anniversary in this month they might be planning something big to celebrate the occasion and this film would be a perfect addition to the Disney+ library.

      It was just recently announced that Home Alone and This Means War (both films from 20th Century Studios) will be leaving HBO Max on October 31st, since Home Alone was on Disney+ when it launched but it left at the top of the year cause of its pre existing contracts i hope that it now returns to Disney+ and stays there permanently since the new Home Alone movie will be an original film on Disney+, and i also hope that This Means War comes to the service as well or go to Hulu since it is PG-13 it can go either way.

    I’m praying for some binge-worthy shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Doogie Howser, M.D. Hopefully they bring in movies like Home Alone and Mrs. Doubtfire which would make a great holiday lineup. Hopefully they announces the release dates for WandaVision, Black Beauty, Eddie the Eagle, and Big.
