In August, Disney+ will be getting new episodes of Marvel Studios “What If”, “Turner & Hooch” and “Monsters At Work” each Friday plus there will be new additions to the Disney+ library, along with lots of new episodes of Star Originals including “Love, Victor” and “Grown-ish”.


NOTE – This list isn’t complete and will be updated with new additions as they are announced. The list is also subject to change. Content may vary depending on your country and this list is based on Canada’s release schedule.

Wednesday 4th August

Monsters At Work – Episode 106 “The Vending Machine”

Tylor’s job is threatened when he breaks MIFT’s favorite vending machine on the day Fritz must fire someone due to budget cuts. Meanwhile Mike tries boosting morale at Monsters, Inc.



Turner & Hooch – Episode 103 “Diamonds are Furever”

The Mysterious Benedict Society – Episode 8 – Finale

Placed undercover at a boarding school known as The Institute, a group of orphans must foil a nefarious plot with global ramifications while creating a new sort of family along the way. Based on the bestseller by Trenton Lee Stewart which Time Magazine called “one of the best young adult books of all time,”The Mysterious Benedict Society” stars Emmy® Award winner Tony Hale in the titular role and features a standout ensemble of young actors.


Love, Victor – Season 2 – Episode 8

Season two picks up with a newly out-of-the-closet Victor (Michael Cimino) entering his junior year at Creekwood High. However, being out brings new challenges as Victor faces a family struggling with his revelation, a heartbroken ex-girlfriend in Mia (Rachel Naomi Hilson), and the difficulties of being an openly gay star athlete — all while navigating the excitement of his new relationship with Benji (George Sear).


Black Widow (1987)

Federal agent Alexandra Barnes (Debra Winger) believes that Catherine Petersen (Theresa Russell) is a serial killer who marries rich men and then murders them for their money. Disney is releasing three hilariously relatable shorts on How to Stay at Home” with such topics as mastering the skills of “How to Wear a Mask,” “Learning to Cook,” and “Binge Watching.”


Family Guy (S19)

Peter Griffin and his family of two teenagers, a smart dog, a devilish baby and his wife find themselves in some of the most hilarious scenarios.


The Resident (S4)

A group of young practising doctors face the realities of modern-day medicine and issues as they learn the ropes with the help of a seasoned senior resident.

    It was announced on this site that Mira: Royal Detective season 1 was supposed to be available on Disney+ a month ago. It’s still not on Disney+. My child has been waiting for it for a month.
