During Disney’s Investor Day on Thursday, Jennifer Lee, who is the chief creative officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios, shared some details on what movies from her division will be coming to Disney+ in the future.

She confirmed that the following “Signature” movies will all be available on the launch day (November 12th in the US):

  • 101 Dalmatians
  • Aladdin
  • Bambi
  • Beauty and the Beast
  • Cinderella
  • The Jungle Book
  • Lady and the Tramp
  • The Lion King
  • The Little Mermaid
  • Peter Pan
  • Pinocchio
  • Sleeping Beauty
  • Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Other titles announced for Disney+ at launch include:

  • Alice In Wonderland
  • Aristocats
  • Bolt
  • Chicken Little
  • Dinosaur
  • Dumbo
  • Emperor’s New Groove
  • Fantasia
  • Fantasia 2000
  • Fox and the Hound
  • Basil the Great Mouse Detective
  • Hercules
  • Hunchback of Notre Dame
  • Lilo & Stitch
  • Meet The Robinsons
  • Mulan
  • Pocahontas
  • Princess and the Frog
  • Tangled
  • Sword and the Stone
  • Winnie The Pooh
  • Wreck It Ralph
  • Fun and Fancy Free
  • The Three Caballeros

The vast library of Disney’s most recent titles will also be available on Disney+ on launch day including:

  • Moana
  • Big Hero 6
  • Frozen
  • Zootopia

More titles will be added throughout the first year.  The newest Walt Disney Animation movie, Ralph Breaks The Internet will take longer to come to Disney+ due to it having to go to Netflix first.

Frozen 2 will be coming to Disney+ in the summer of 2020 and during the presentation, it was announced they would be releasing a behind the scenes documentary series called, Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2.

And these movies will be available permanently, Disney won’t be using their traditional “vault” system of pulling titles away, like they do with VHS, Blu-Ray and DVD.  Eventually all their movies will be available on Disney+
